01Who we are

Elena Kay Photography, LLC, 74 Fairview Avenue, Holtsville NY 11742, runs this website and our client portal. Write info@elenakayphotography.com with any privacy question.

02What we collect

We collect only what we need to answer you, plan your day, and deliver your work:

• When you check your date: your names, email, phone, how you want us to reply, the session type, date, venue, ceremony location, the package you are thinking about, any discounts you check, and anything you write to us.
• Where you came from: the first page you visited, the site that sent you, and any campaign tags in the link. Your browser holds this for the visit, and it reaches us only if you send the form.
• When you book: contact details for both of you, addresses, wedding day locations and times, your electronic signature and initials, payment records, and any photos you upload to your portal.
• Payments: you pay on Stripe's secure checkout page. Card numbers go to Stripe. We never see or store them.
• The photos, films, and clips we create at your event.

03How we use it

We use your information to:

• answer your inquiry, check your date, and send a quote
• prepare your agreement, invoices, and payment links
• plan and staff your day
• deliver your galleries, films, and clips
• send follow up emails about your inquiry or booking, each with a link to unsubscribe
• measure which ads and pages lead to inquiries
• block spam and keep our systems secure
• keep the tax and business records the law requires

04Cookies and ad measurement

Our pages load Google Tag Manager and the Google Ads tag. They may set cookies so Google can measure which ads lead to an inquiry. Our site also stores two small items in your browser for the visit only: where you came from, and whether you closed the mobile booking bar. The client portal and studio admin use sign in cookies that those areas need to work.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalization in your Google account settings.

05Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the companies that run parts of our business for us, with the contractors who work your day, and when the law requires it. Our service providers are:

• Vercel, which hosts this website and stores files
• Supabase, which holds our client database
• Resend, which sends our emails
• Stripe, which processes payments
• Google, for tags and ad measurement
• Dropbox or a similar service, for delivering large files

06Text messages

If you ask us to reply by text, we text the number you gave about your inquiry and booking. Message and data rates may apply. Tell us to stop and we will.

07How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and booking records as long as we need them for the reasons above and for tax and legal records. Delivered files stay online for 2 years under your agreement, and after that they may be deleted.

08How we protect it

The website runs over encrypted connections, the studio admin is password protected, and client portal links close automatically 24 hours after they reach you. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as New York law requires.

09Your choices

Use the unsubscribe link in any follow up email to stop them. Write info@elenakayphotography.com to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it. We keep what we must for contracts, payments, and tax records.

10Children

This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Sessions with children, like newborn and cake smash sessions, are booked by a parent or guardian.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this page. The date at the top shows the current version.
